This slideshow requires JavaScript.

I have been lucky enough to try out a new product on the market called: Calmurid Pro. This product has been specifically targeted for people with dry, damaged and/or sensitive skin. Calmurid Pro has been developed with the help of Dermatologists (skin care specialists)for you to use as part of your daily skin care routine.

Did you know?
Calmurid Pro contains a special ingredient called UREA

Fact:
Healthy Skin will typically contain 28 micrograms of Urea per square centimetre, dehydrated dry skin can see a reduction of approximately 50% and those with eczema as much as 80%

What is Urea?
Urea is one of our 7 natural moisturising qualities within our skin. Urea is a natural component of our skins tissue that plays a vital role in moisturising our skin. However Urea production does reduce with age and therefore your skin loses its elasticity and moisture.

Benefits of UREA?
1)Urea hydrates the skin by retaining water
2)It softens the skin by exfoliating dead skin cells on the surface of you skin
3)Improves the skins barrier replenishment
4)Soothes skin by reducing itching

The key to healthy, elastic and youthful skin is hydration.

Try Calmurid Pro today and combat your dry skin demons.

Many people complain about dry skin, I myself have suffered from dry skin for a while, why not trial trial this product with your friends and see if this product makes a change to your skin.

UniBond Aero 360 Pure : First Impressions

Just a little update on my new best friend the Aero 360

2014-10-05 13.51.092014-10-05 13.51.19

I decided to use the device in a different room everyday, to see which room needed the most help :p Upon reading the information booklet that was sent to me, I realised that I would have to use it in a room for a few days, as I may not see any results on the first day.

I decided on three days at first, however it some how turned into a week XD

On the first day there was not even a drop of water and I was beginning to feel like it wasn’t going to do anything. The main problem in my room was condensation at night, so I waited till the morning and again not even a drop. I was hesitant to continue, but I thought I should leave it in for another day and success there was quite a bit of water at the bottom and I was surprised that it was BLUE!

It was raining the previous night so I could not tell if it had sucked my condensation right up, but the following day, my windows were clear, so it may be helping.

I’ll be emptying it out and moving it to the next location hopefully tomorrow, and ill update you on more pics,

here’s some for now:

I was sent two vouchers that i'll be giving away =D

UniBond Aero 360 Pure : Introduction

We were lucky enough to be sent this Aero 360 PURE device to test out and review as an insider, this will be a very different product review, but one we’re happy to try out.

This device was created as a moisture absorber for your home. Sometimes looking around your house, it’s difficult to notice how much moisture everyday activities can create, which can cause bad effects to your home and make it an unhealthy place to live.

Everyday tasks such as cooking, ironing, washing, using central heating or even taking a shower/bath can all contribute to creating moisture in the home.

Fun fact: A typical family produces on average 12 litres of water everyday. This is why keeping our homes well insulated and well ventilated are key in keeping humidity levels balanced.

Too much moisture in the house can cause: condensation, dampness in the house, dust mites, allergies, joint problems, mould, mildew patches, wallpaper peeling off, blistering paint or having a cold on a regular basis.

This device comes with it’s own refill tab that fully dissolves in approximately 3 months. The device has a clear part at the bottom so you can visually monitor the amount of fluid in the tank. It also has an anti-spill protection mechanism for your own safety.

I have high hopes for this product, it looks well designed and having done some research on this product, I can’t wait to see the positive outcomes.

I’ll keep you posted on how my first try went and I’ll try to post some pictures too,

Thanks everyone – keep an eye out on updates

P.s. Between October and January Aero 360 is on promotion, available in: Asda, Sainsburys, Morrisons, B&Q, Homebase, Robert Dyas, Wilkinson, B&M, Amazon and many other retailers 😉

❀ My Summer Garden ❀

IMG-20140611-WA0018

Waiting for cherries to grow is like waiting for a solar eclipse to come around. Especially in a town filled with pigeons that won’t let buds become fruits and eat them as soon as they come out. *sigh*

We had the tallest most spectacular cherry tree in our old house, I miss it so much. Our cherries were the main focus of summer after holidays abroad. Ahh childhood memories, I had the best childhood filled with fun and excitement.

These smell sooo good! I love the intense colour. When dried they still keep their scent, so it can be dried and kept inside your room as a natural air freshener,

And to all your disbelief, I will not edit these photos to make them smaller, I will leave them humongous so you can see the gory detail on every flower =/

Since taking these pictures many of these have died and many others have grown in their place. I love my garden as it contains a variety of seasonal flowers including many bulbed flowers that re appear every year! My next post will be a final update on my fruit trees before I get back from my well deserved holiday!

June Favourites ❣

Hi Dudettes, it’s time for a favourites video (I got forced to do this by Tia – since I haven’t done one since February last year methinks)

When it comes to make up I rarely switch it up, I usually go for the same brands and Same colours, buuuuuuut recently I’ve been obsessed with trying new brands, colours and investing money in new companies. In my next post I’ll tell you about the company ‘Make up Revolution’ who are a new online company, I bought their products just before going on holiday, when they were just 2 months old *awwk*

Anyhow, I’ll quit blabbering on and just show you my June favs (in no particular order)!

2014-06-28 17.42.28

1) Since I’ve already mentioned Make up Revolution, I may as well start with them. I am totally obsessed with their lipsticks. They apply beautifully, their creamy and the colours available are just spectacular. I really did not think they would be this good, I’m glad I took a risk and bought a few when I placed an order. I was born with burgundy lips, and when it comes to lipsticks they usually don’t come up on my lips, but these are great, they cover well and feel awesome. If you’re worried about bright colours and don’t want to spend a fortune trying them out, I would opt for these bad boys 😉

2014-06-28 17.36.58

These two are my favourite shades out of the ones I brought, the Orange is called Vice and the Lilac is called Depraved. I also like the plum pink called Crime =D

2) My second favourite is an eye dust or pigment, I’ve never tried a pigment from any other company other than BarryM (DazzleDust) so I wasn’t sure how it would turn out. I bought three others, also from the Makeup Revolution range through Superdrug Online. I’ve only tried the colour ‘Supreme’ and I am totally blown away with this product, you can create a totally matte eye look and add this eye pigment and transform your day look into a night look.

3) I’ve had two favourite mascaras this month, both new on the market, the first one by Rimmel called the Scandaleyes Flex (I’m not sure how many more ‘Scandaleyes’ mascaras they’re going to create – but be sure I will be tempted to try each and every one) *sigh* This mascara is a bit clumpy but can really help create that dramatic eye look. I love it when we go to late night parties and it gives that ‘false lash effect’ lol

The second one is the Volume Million Lashes by Loreal, this is now, by far, my most favourite (bad English but who cares) mascara everrrrr. It lengthens, strengthens, coats evenly and keeps your lashes curled. Some expensive mascaras are over the top waterproof that it hurts taking it off, but this is not the case with this one.

2014-06-28 17.38.10

4) There was a time when I hated Lipsticks, that time my friends is looong gone.

It's like a coral/orange/red colour, which is my favourite colour in the whole entire world.

It’s like a coral/orange/red colour, which is my favourite colour in the whole entire world.

2014-06-28 17.35.52
I think in terms of where I spend most of my dads cash, it’s usually on lipsticks. Revlon is my go to lipstick line, I do like the Maybelline (Vivids line) and the YSL (Rouge Volupte) but my current favourite is from Rimmel, the Kate Moss line, in shade 110. This lipstick can be applied softly for a tinted lips effect or intensely for a brighter lip look. Oh and the Rimmel lipstick range smells sooo nice. I usually hate fragranced make up but the lipstick smells like Tamarind mmm.

5) Sticking to Rimmel, I also like the Apocolips, lip lacquer, this is the only lacquer I’ve ever tried, and Im beginning to really like the formula. It’s opaque and a thick consistency, it lasts on your lips for a long time and looks great.

6) My first ever favourite make up item were eye shadows, it was the first thing I ventured into after eye liner. Recently I’ve been using a lot of neutral colours and I have a collection of about 7 Neutral eye shadow palettes *yikes*

One of the reasons to buy coloured eye shadow for me is to go on holiday, that is when I discovered the Glam Eyes HD eye shadow by Rimmel in shade 003 Royal blue. It’s convenient because it has 3 different shades, which can be transformed in to many looks depending on where you place them. It’s handy because it’s small enough to fit a handbag or travel make up bag.

2014-06-28 17.39.14

7)  I’m loving the MUA lipglosses this month, it was my favourite thing to take with me on holiday, I even persuaded my sisters to buy some, even though we ended up losing a few in the airport during baggage checks *sobs*

2014-06-28 17.41.01

The red one in the middle called ‘Pucker up’ 😉 *wolf whistles* it is the most pigmented. It’s from the Intense Kisses line, I love them, they feel so smooth, like butter, yum!

The one at the end is a light pink and duskier real life, the picture makes it look bright, it’s called ‘Quick kiss’ haha

*Cue Music* ‘Kiss me like you mean it, tell me something true, I wana believe in me and you’ *sings*

The first one is from the ‘Out there’ line, called Pin up Pink, I love the packaging of this one. This one is a plumping lip gloss, it gives a tingling sensation when applied, oo laa laa.

8) My favourite concealer has been the Maybelline Superstay, often compared to the Revlon colourstay. It has a thick consistency and a smooth application. It has a medium coverage and does not look cakey. Not much I can say about this, other than that I don’t wear foundation and sometimes you can look dead without something under your eyes, especially if you’re nocturnal like me and can’t sleep at night and are forced up in the morning by annoying little brats *hmpfh*

Shade 3 - The darkest one they have

Shade 3 – The darkest one they have

8) The last favourite of this month is a blusher, I have so many expensive blushers but I always get drawn to this one I brought for my holidays. It’s called ‘Lolly’ by MUA it’s like a coral pink colour which gives a cute dolly flushed look.

2014-06-28 17.38.43

I just realised how messy that looks hah ^ so that reminds me, it has a lot of fallout, but I don’t care, I still love the colour. If you really hate the fallout, there is a similar colour in the Sleek Blush by 3 palette called Lace.

Anyhow, that’s a lot of writing for one day, I need a months break haha

I will be back tomorrow, maybe, with the makeup revolution post with swatches =D

✌ Alone at Sea ✌

Amongst all the people walking around me

I walk ALONE near the sea

The ocean with its awe filled wonder

As the sand slips beneath my feet

I hear the waves

As I ponder

In this world, are we free

I feel some hope, My family brings

In this world whose with me?

Am I ALONE like I really believe?

Or is that just a part of me?

I could be the perfect actress,

Who doesn’t let anyone see

That I’m the only one standing ALONE,

When I’m ALONE at sea.

Spring/Summer Photography 2014

It’s that time of the year again, when your bulbs are re growing and your buds are blooming with so much colour all around it’s a shocker I haven’t been snapping pictures like crazy like I did last year. This year the daffodils have already come and gone *sigh* I’ve just been so sick and I’m recovering painfully slow, which has caused me to become overly lazy and miss out on so much excitement in my garden.

This year we haven’t been all that much into gardening, we’ll be going away to Italy and Bangladesh soon, so I thought I’d write this up before we disappear =)

I recently went to one of my uncles houses and was amazed to see so many different plants and shrubs and amazing greenery’s, I just couldn’t help myself, and snapped up a few pics hehe

I must admit though, I took these pics on my phone, but I think it turned out pretty good =D

Close up

Close up – Just look at the amazing intricate details

2014-04-03 17.10.40

Super awesome yellowness, my friend Sheila would be proud of me for putting this one up 😉

2014-04-03 17.06.29

I love the red ones, the colour of poppies but I’m pretty sure they’re not poppies, hmm

2014-04-03 17.08.39

Yellow overload =D Eeek I love these!!!

2014-04-03 17.07.05

2014-04-03 17.06.44

such a spectacular shade of pink, it’s the pink version of the white flowers that grow on cherry trees before the buds come out methinks, what does thou think?

2014-04-03 17.07.43

Just thought I’d stick a green one in there, for no apparent reason of course…

Anyhoo enough of my uncles plants, I’ll show you what’s growing on my trees so far (nothing that amazing really – but we’re not too fussed as we will probably not be around to eat it all)

IMG-20140506-WA0013

I think this ones an apple tree, I can’t remember, we’ve moved a few around and brought new ones, it’s difficult to tell them apart at this stage. Well I think most fruit trees look the same, but I might just be the odd dumb one – urm.. sorry about that =/

Oh and excuse the bright orange fences, our fences came down last month with the harsh winds, as did a few of our neighbours, so now were stuck with a few bright orange fences which look hideous *face palm* and apparently no one stocks up on fences in Luton ugh!

IMG-20140506-WA0012

I absolutely love these itty bitty cherry tree, we had one that was planted in our old house, it was humongous and it bore many fruits each year. I have great memories with that tree, so much so, that as a child moving out of my first home I asked my dad if we could take the tree with us – but of course, we couldnt just lift a huge tree of the ground *sob* and there you have it, a forever tree friendship ends in misery ='( nothing will ever replace you Miss.Humongous Cherry tree, I shall forever remember you *sheds tears* ok enough drama, i’ll try to move on *sniff*

IMG-20140506-WA0010

Ok half these plants haven’t bloomed yet, but since I’ll probably be in Italy or Switzerland I thought I’ll upload them anyway!

IMG-20140506-WA0009

I love that the sun was out, this is the first day I went into my garden since FOREVER and I love that my dad let me take the pictures on his phone, because let’s be real, I have the worlds crappiest phone, (note to self – Must invest in a camera!!)

IMG-20140506-WA0008

Amazing

IMG-20140506-WA0007

more pretty flowers – near this plant are lots of blackberries yum, but I guess I forgot to take a pic – oops

IMG-20140506-WA0006

The back end of my garden, excuse the broken greenhouse – caused by the neighbours kids playing football in our garden – hehe

IMG-20140506-WA0002

IMG-20140506-WA0005

Hope you enjoyed all my pics, my next picture post should be on fruits if all goes according to plan. However there could be a slight delay what with all the holiday plans and Ramadan round the corner =)

Hope every ones having a happy sunny and joyous day,

TJ 😉
