UniBond Aero 360 Pure : Introduction

We were lucky enough to be sent this Aero 360 PURE device to test out and review as an insider, this will be a very different product review, but one we’re happy to try out.

This device was created as a moisture absorber for your home. Sometimes looking around your house, it’s difficult to notice how much moisture everyday activities can create, which can cause bad effects to your home and make it an unhealthy place to live.

Everyday tasks such as cooking, ironing, washing, using central heating or even taking a shower/bath can all contribute to creating moisture in the home.

Fun fact: A typical family produces on average 12 litres of water everyday. This is why keeping our homes well insulated and well ventilated are key in keeping humidity levels balanced.

Too much moisture in the house can cause: condensation, dampness in the house, dust mites, allergies, joint problems, mould, mildew patches, wallpaper peeling off, blistering paint or having a cold on a regular basis.

This device comes with it’s own refill tab that fully dissolves in approximately 3 months. The device has a clear part at the bottom so you can visually monitor the amount of fluid in the tank. It also has an anti-spill protection mechanism for your own safety.

I have high hopes for this product, it looks well designed and having done some research on this product, I can’t wait to see the positive outcomes.

I’ll keep you posted on how my first try went and I’ll try to post some pictures too,

Thanks everyone – keep an eye out on updates

P.s. Between October and January Aero 360 is on promotion, available in: Asda, Sainsburys, Morrisons, B&Q, Homebase, Robert Dyas, Wilkinson, B&M, Amazon and many other retailers 😉

Salad Style 5: Fruits

2014-02-17 21.08.45

Fruit snacking has become one of my favourite things to do and why not? It tastes great, easy to make and is GOOD for you =)

1) Banana (my favourite for fruits salads)
2) Grapes
3) Plum
4) Pear
5) Oranges

All you have to do is slice the up or cut them into chunks, I like to cut my grapes in half too but you don’t have to if you don’t want to, I obviously have too much time on my hands =D

You can eat it like that if you want to, but I LOVE double cream so I usually put some in a bowl for my dads dairy free diet and the rest of us eat it with cream, yummy!

Mmmm you can never have enough double cream right?

❤ The Host – Stephenie Meyer | Book Review ❤

Hey Guys :’) ,

After I read the Twilight series I was literally scarred by reading such poorly written writing. It was very slow, and just boring to be honest. However most teen girls with a disgusting taste of books, seemed to like it, so that was good for Stephenie. When I heard about The Host I was extremely wary about whether it was worth my time reading it, as it is pretty huge. It has been sitting in the library for two years for me to read it but I have always been put off. I mean on the cover it said ‘ Author of the bestseller Eclipse’… If that isn’t going to put you off reading a book; I don’t know what is. And it also had the really freaky eye thing on the cover…

The Host cover

See what I mean about the freaky eye??

HOWEVER – I finished The Host in around 12 hours. I started in the afternoon, carried on till at least 2 in the morning, woke up at 5 and finished it off :’). That was how awesome it was. And it is an extremely thick book, around 700 pages or more

Stephenie has created a dystopian world, full of imagination, so unique and just plainly awesome. Seriously, she should have written this under a pseudonym, loads of more people probably would’ve read it.

It was set in the future, and there was no physical fighting, no wars. No one ever got sad, or was even hurt verbally. Humans were generally much more peaceful, and trusted one another completely. Violence and crime were unheard of. Money wasn’t an issue anymore since it didn’t exist. You just walked into a shop, got what you wanted and bought it back to the counter, so the shop keeper, could tally up the things he needs to buy more off. Awesome, right?

Well… The main reason everything was going so smoothly in Earth is because the citizens weren’t human. Well they still were, but they all had something inside them. A soul, or as the humans called them, a parasite. They souls were very gentle and peaceful, which is why earth is a much better place. Every single human has a soul, controlling their body, actions and even speech.

Some humans however, are still trappped inside their own bodies. They cannot move for them self, and can only talk using their bodies sometimes, but they can communicate with the soul inside their head.

Humans are pretty much extinct, apart from rebel humans, living in hiding, determined not to go towards the same doomed fate as the rest of the world. Melanie, is one of those humans. But when she is snatched and her body is made host for Wanderers soul something… out of place happens. Different. And very frightening for Wanderer. Melanie is still alive, and she demands her presence to be heard.

This is not normal at all for souls and their hosts, and without realizing it Wanderer is on a journey looking for Jared and Jamie, Melanie’s little brother and the guy she was camping with.

The book really made me think of appearances, and just how much of our character they made up. I liked the whole concept of the ‘Souls’ and the different worlds in which they lived. Much more imaginative and cool than sparkling fairy vampires.

Trust me it feels weird to be talking about how awesome a book by Stephenie Meyer is. Very weird.

But I liked and I will probably re-read it soon<3

Adios dudes 😉

* Spring <3 Pictures *

Hey guys, me (Tj) and Tia thought we should take some Spring pics for you, please don’t complain about our messy garden and amateur photography skills. Plus these were taken by my phone, until, I can afford a decent camera *sigh*

Anyhow, the plants look great, although, most of them have been trampled on by a random cute little cat, who seems to have adopted us (I see him running in my neighbours garden right now lol)

Enjoy the pics =D (Some of them I’ve left full sized due to the utter yumminess)

Bourjois Paris: Healthy Mix Foundation Review

Hi everyone,

Today I’ll be reviewing the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation (Duh!) I really like this foundation, really reminds me of one of my Estee Lauder ones, but I can’t recall the name, OOPS!

Bourjois Healthy Mix

Cost: £9.99 This is how much it cost me, you may find it cheaper or more expensive elsewhere, but I got mine from Boots
Available in: Boots/Superdrugs (Any other Highstreet Retailer/drugstore)

The shade I got mine in, is 54, the shade name is Beige, which comes out quite dark on my face, which means I got the wrong colour, but I’m not that fussed, because it blends in nicely and doesn’t leave any streaky marks from my brush/applicator. They do have a nice range of colours available, but unfortunately you can only test on your hands and my hand isn’t the same colour as my face, weird I know!

Shade 54 Beige

Application: It applies very smoothly and has a soft satin-like texture, it feels great and lightweight on your skin. It reminds me of BB creams, it’s that lightweight and leaves a subtle glow/dewyness on the skin, which I love!!! Mind you, it doesn’t make you look shiny or oily, just dewy, which I think looks great and natural. The actual product feels like a cream but a little more runny, but you can totally control how much you want to use, the pump is just great. It does have a smell, but it’s not noticeable, it’s not a bad smell either and it’s not a smell I can relate to anything else, but I didn’t notice it when I used it, I only noticed it when I sniffed it now =D

Coverage: I would say it has a medium to full coverage, I used less than one pump which is very little and I used this on my whole face and it covered all my redness and evened out my skin tone perfectly. I do believe if you use one pump, that would be enough to cover your whole face and neck. I don’t really have blemishes on my face, but I certainly have discolouration from when I was younger and I had eczema on my face =( and it totally took them away, which is fab! I did however need to use my concealer on my hideous under eye dark circles, but they’re real bad lately!

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation

Ingredients: This product has some really strange ingredients I don’t remember seeing in any other foundation I’ve used, but I really don’t mind them. Not sure if they’re going to benefit my skin, but at least I don’t feel like I’m ruining my skin by using this product =P It has Apricot for radiance/Melon for hydration/Apple as an antioxidant and Ginger for Energy

Lasting Power: It says it’s supposed to last for 16hrs, I mean I don’t wear my foundation for that long, but the longest I wore it for was 6 hrs and it did last without touch ups!!! And I didn’t even set my foundation with powder once, which is great. I have normal to dry skin, so I didn’t feel the need, but people with oily skin might have to set this with powder.

Overall I think this product is super EXCELLENT and I recommend it to you all!!!!!!!!!!! I love that it makes you glow and I love love loveee the pump!!

Disclaimer: This product has been bought with my own money. I am not affiliated with this company. I never accept money in exchange for positive feedback. All of the comment stated above are my own HONEST opinions.
