All you need for this fruit salad is Banana and Kiwi fruit, yum! Now individually I love them both but together they create the most awesome flavour. Just cut the up into chunks and chuck them in a bowl, the mixture of sweet and tangy is absolutely divine. Better yet eat this as a snack to meet part of your 5 a day as apposed to eating unhealthy snacks.
Bananas are an excellent source of Vitamin b6, fiber and vitamin c.
Kiwi’s are filled with Vitamin c & e and also have fiber which is good for digestion!
There’s nothing I like more than a fruit chutney, it’s easy to make, it’s tangy and spicy all at the same time, perfect for days when you don’t feel like eating anything or feel really poorly. It just creates a quick kick of flavour that makes you feel better in no time =D
For the pineapple chutney all I used was:
3) 1 green Chilly
4) Pinch of salt
5) Roasted garlic (2-3 cloves)
All you have to do is cut the pineapple into chunks, or slices, if you’re feeling daring. The more thinner and smaller the more juices and flavours are incorporated in the mix.
If you’re a little frightened of the green chilly I would cut bigger chunks hehe
Put your chunks in a serving bowl. In a smaller bowl mix your other ingredients all together until they are moist and all the salt has dissolved into the mixture. Then mix all the ingredients into the serving bowl with the pineapple chunks/slices and we are done, voila!
